From December 28th to 29th, 2019, Professor Xiaotie Deng, Dr. Yuqing Kong and student Hongyin Chen from CFCS attended the 8th International Congress of Chinese Mathematician- Computational and Applied Mathematics (ICCM-CAM) Annual Workshop and delivered research works.

In the meeting, Xiaotie Deng, chair professor of CFCS, Peking University delivered a report on CycLedger: A Scalable and Secure Parallel Protocol for Distributed Ledger via Sharding, which is also accepted by IPDPS 2020. 

Dr. Yuqing Kong, assistant professor of CFCS, Peking University delivered a report on Credible Data Market, introducing SMIND system developed by her team.

The workshop is the 8th meeting of the ICCM (International Congress of Chinese Mathematician) Consortium on CAM (Computational and Applied Mathematics). The consortium has the mission of enhancing collaboration among Chinese Mathematicians working on CAM and enhancing their collaboration with international experts. The 8th workshop shall focus on AI, Big Data and Block Chain, from applications of computational and applied mathematics and as an enlarged scope of applied mathematics. The 8th ICCM-CAM Annual Workshop is held from December 27th to 30th, 2019 at Hefei, Anhui Province.
